Amanhã será lançado "Seven Swans re imagined", um disco composto inteiramente por covers que presta homenagem a "Seven Swans", magnífico disco que o grande Sufjan Stevens lançou no ido ano de 2004. As receitas do disco, lançado pela Bandcamp, vão reverter para a Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Entre os artistas estão nomes como DM Stith, Half-Handed Cloud, the Gregory Brothers ou Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Este último arriscou uma versão de "All the Trees of the Field Will Clap Their Hands", onde contou com a participação de Meg Baird (Espers) e Emmett Kelly (Cairo Gang). Na página da Bandcamp dedicada a este tema, BPB disse o seguinte:
"I can't for the life of me remember how or where I came upon Seven Swans. It was in my possession by the early aughts, and on tour each night I'd smoke a bowl deep and lay in my sleeping bag and listen to 'The Transfiguration'. I've never listened to another of Stevens' records. I'm not sure about the source of the faith expressed in the lyrics of the record. In the end it doesn't matter; it's just music. 'Trees Clap' is a quiet introduction. I could not try 'Transfiguration' as I find the rendition on Seven Swans to be flawless."
O Fusco partilha agora a versão de Inlets para "Borderline" e, para compor o ramalhete, mostra o caminho para a versão de Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Se se quiserem chegar à frente e comprar o disco por 10 dólares o caminho é este.
